Walmart 6th Annual Open Call for U.S. Sourced Products
In 2013 Walmart pledged to source an additional $250 billion of Made in USA products over 10 years. This was the largest reshoring initiative by any company, and one of the only initiatives by a box store retailer. The move has brought new business to American companies, added thousands of jobs, and provided shoppers with more quality goods.
The Reshoring Initiative offers Resources for Retail Suppliers to help large and small U.S. and foreign-based companies make the right decision and succeed in profitably manufacturing or sourcing appropriate products in the U.S.A.
