This year we are offering a live global broadcast of the 2016 U.S. Manufacturing Supplier Summit, beginning June 28th at 8am (CDT) for the General Session. But how will more recent trends such as the strengthening dollar and advanced robotics impact the trajectory of US manufacturing? The Boston Consulting Group's Hal Sirkin and Dustin Burke will lead a session on current US manufacturing trends, and the emerging factors that will shape the US manufacturing sector in the years to come. 11:30 am to 12:15 pm: SUPPLIER ACADEMY: PATHS TO U.S. MANUFACTURING Navigating the complexities of locating or expanding factories in the US remains a top challenge for Walmart suppliers. This session will explore how to best engage with the federal and state governments to understand available resources and incentives. Learn about the resources Walmart has gathered to assist you in site selection and component manufacturing. Hear a success story on how to publicly grand open your new operation that positively impacts your community.
