Industry Leaders Who Started as Apprentices, Make Yourselves Known!
AMT is running a series of articles on Industry leaders who started as apprentices. We want to expand on this effort and share the success stories of apprenticeship holders to encourage more people to follow suit.

Eligibility Criteria:
a. Completed a formal apprenticeship program in any country. b. Apprenticeship was the first form of training/education after high school. Ok to have gotten college degrees during or after the apprenticeship. c. Current or highest career position compensation higher than the average for PhD’s and professional degree holders.(About $100,000/year). d. Currently working in or retired from manufacturing: For example: OEM, job shop, technology supplier, distributorPlease provide:
Two Photos: High resolution if possible 1. Recent studio photo 2. Photo as apprentice or at least in that age range. Preferably not a studio shot. Bio: 1. Apprenticeship: Where, company, focus (e.g. toolmaker), years. Comments. 2. Subsequent career: Cover all or most important positions. with the approximate years served and in chronological order. Focus on the current job. 3. Brief positive comments on:- Roll of apprenticeship as a basis for the subject’s career. What prompted you to decide to enroll in an apprenticeship program?
- Value of apprenticeships for apprentices and the nation’s economy.
Length: Approximately 150 to 200 words
