HARRY MOSER RADIO MEDIA TOUR COVERAGE REPORT - Reshoring and Mining

The Reshoring Initiative would like send a big thanks to NMA for the opportunity to reach so many people. The following is a comprehensive report, to date (November 3), of coverage resulting around Harry Moser’s radio media tour (RMT) to discuss Manufacturing Month and the importance of domestic minerals and metals supply for companies looking to reshore. On October 26, Harry completed 15 interviews – 6 national and others in Missouri, Arizona, Florida, Montana, Ohio, Georgia and Massachusetts. Incorporating his own Reshoring Initiative messaging and NMA messages, Harry related well to the interviewers and inserted personal anecdotes, which helped keep the interviewers and the audience engaged. Typically these interviews last a maximum of 15 minutes, but two – “Ocala Live” and “The Bone’s Public Affairs Program” in Florida – lasted around 20-25 minutes. Harry touched on major MML messaging points including the protracted delays due to the bureaucracy of the mine permitting process and emphasized that the mining industry is acutely aware of the need for the industry to be environmentally conscious. Harry also was sure to plug mineralsmakelife.org as the place to go for more information and in nearly every interview mentioned the recent passage of Rep. Mark Amodei’s bill and upcoming legislation from Rep. Lisa Murkowski.To date, Harry’s interviews have been aired 15 times, reaching a radio audience of more than 15.5 million (15,695,620).
